Fortnite Season 3 Finally Adds My Favorite Star Wars Character

David CoulsonBy David Coulson20 April 2025No Comments2 Mins Read

Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 is around the corner and will bring Star Wars back to the game with its own dedicated season for the first time.

Ahead of Star Wars Day, Season 3 will begin on May 2nd and is set to bring more iconic characters from Disney’s multi-billion dollar franchise to the game.

And, after years of hoping, my favorite character is finally coming to Fortnite, along with his badass purple Lightsaber.

Prominent Fortnite leaker HYPEX has detailed everything that we can expect to see in the upcoming Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3, which will be Star Wars themed.

Star Wars has been one of the longest running collaborations in the game, with many skins being released in both the Fortnite Item Shop and previous Battle Passes.

Because of this, Epic Games has had to start creating ‘remixed’ versions of existing skins. These will be making an appearance next season, with the Wookie Team Leader and Evie receiving new versions.

Alongside these will be Captain Phasma, Poe Cameron, Mandalorian (perhaps another remix?), Jar Jar Binks, Emperor Palpatine, and my favorite character, Mace Windu.

There will also be new weapons coming to Fortnite next season, including a Pistol, SMG, and Assault Rifle. A new version of Force Lightning will be coming to the game, along with Lightsabers, the Mythic Mandalorian weapons, and all of the previous Star Wars items that have been in the game.

Players will also be able to hop into X-Wings and Tie Fighters and fly across the Fortnite island, which should be a lot of fun.

Currently, there are over 25 Star Wars skins in Fortnite, including most of the main characters from the franchise. Luke and Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Darth Vader, Han Solo, and Princess Leia are already in the game. With these latest additions, there are very few notable characters left before Epic Games would be scraping the barrel.

Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 launches on May 2nd and has been rumored to only be lasting for one month before Season 4 begins in June to take players through the Summer.

This still gives players time to unlock Sub Zero and the rest of the Battle Pass items in Season 2, with a new Fortnite Reload map giving players an incentive to jump from the Battle Bus once again.
