Fortnite X Chainsaw Man Collab Coming Tonight, But Don’t Expect Skins

Chainsaw Man has become one of the most popular anime in the world, especially following the success of the movie, which was released in Autumn 2025. So it is no surprise that Epic Games is set to bring its iconic characters to Fortnite, joining the mega-list of franchises and collaborations that have made an appearance in the Battle Royale.

Players are excited to be able to jump into their favourite modes as Denji, Power, and Makima with Pochita by their side, which will likely happen now that Sidekicks are in the game.

Fans of the anime don’t have long to wait to spend their V-Bucks on Chainsaw Man content in Fortnite, as the theme song from Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc is set to hit the Item Shop in just a few hours, but don’t expect any skins just yet.

Epic Games has announced that two new songs will be coming to Fortnite Festival later today during the next Item Shop rotation.

Anime fans will immediately recognize Iris Out as being from the recently released Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc. The movie was a global success, generating over $174 million at the box office, outperforming the likes of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Infinity Castle and Attack on Titan: The Last Attack.

Although Season 1 of Chainsaw Man proved to be a huge hit, I didn’t expect the movie to perform as well as it did, but it is great to see anime movies becoming much more mainstream and standing toe-to-toe with more traditional blockbuster movies, especially in the Western world.

With the popularity of the series, it is no surprise that it is set to come to Fortnite, joining the long list of anime franchises that have appeared in the game, including Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Naruto, Bleach, Demon Slayer, and numerous others.

It was revealed earlier this week that Chainsaw Man skins were in the works and are set to come to the game, although no date has been given. The news was originally revealed by SamLeakss, who also previously leaked that Bleach would be coming to Fortnite, which has been prominently featured in the Item Shop for the past couple of weeks.

It has also recently been revealed that we can expect new collaborations from Resident Evil, NINJAGO, IShowSpeed, Ember & Blade, and HUNTR/X over the coming months.

Although it seems like Chainsaw Man fans will have to wait a while longer to jump from the Battle Bus as Denji, Power, and other characters from the series, it does give Fortnite’s latest collaboration a chance to breathe and take centre stage.

Coming with tomorrow’s update on January 9th, a long-awaited collaboration with South Park is set to begin, with Stan, Kyle, Cartman, Kenny, and Butters making their way to the game along with a free mini-Battle Pass that will grant players plenty of rewards related to the nearly 30-year-old franchise.

Unfortunately, all five of the main characters will only be in the Item Shop, so you will need to stock up on V-Bucks if you want to add them to your locker.
